Here we are face to face with the white supremacist Minutemen. |
These are the flags of the Mexica Movement. They represent the Indigenous people of Anahuac. This flag is specifically designed to represent the Mexica Movement in all of our words and actions. It represents ALL THE INDIGENOUS PEOPLE of what is called Canada, the U.S., Mexico, and "Central America"---------WITHOUT EUROPEAN BORDERS that now divide our continent and our people. The center symbol represents the Hunab Ku of our great Maya civilization. The Hunab Ku represents Our Creator as manifested in Space and Time: The universe. The four colors on the edge represent the four directions and the four main elements of the The Creation, as represented in the Mexica (Aztec) civilization. The Red is for Water. The Black is for Earth. The White is for Air. The Blue is for Fire.
This flag represents the beauty of the genius of our people, before the European criminal invasions of our continent that began in 1492. |

Here we are with our giant posters and their messages and our flags. |
Here are our people united against racism! |

Here are the white supremacist who want this continent to be controlled and dominated by the white race. |

This is one of the leaders of the white supremacists. You can see the obvious lack of intelligence on his face. |

Our people respond by coming out in strong numbers. You can see some of them holding our new poster NO SOMOS ILEGALES. |

Media gave good coverage of our protest. |
The local community came out to protest. |
More media arrived. |

We outnumbered the white supremacists. |
Courageous moms came out in protest. |
More moms yelling at the white supremacists. |
![]() ![]() |
Local people from around the corner made quick signs to join the protest. The crowd grew as the day went on. |

Here's a nice large version of our NO SOMOS ILEGALSE POSTER. |
Yes, some good white people were on our side. |

It went on from 10 AM to 2 PM. |
We confronted them with truth. |
The cops behaved well in context of LAPD riot. |
![]() |
We outlasted the white supremacists, some of whom left early or were sitting it out on the sides because they were too lazy to stick it out. |

Here they are finally leaving under police escort. |

Above are the new poster and our new banner that was in the face of the white supremacists all day long. They avoided taking pictures of these two truths and they avoided them in their videos.
THE TRUTH WILL IN THE END DEFEAT ALL RACISTS! |

| We did outreach during the protest. Here Jesse Rivera of the Mexica Movement talks to some of our young people about our history and they were very confused. This is why we pass out our fliers. We had a chance to unconfuse them with our fliers. | One of our photographers, Victor Robles, with Nelyollotl Toltecatl our muralist, writer, and media spokesperson pass out fliers. | |

Then it was all over. Our flags caught a lot of curiosity. We had several discussions about what they represent and why this is the symbol of the work that we do as the Mexica Movement. We'll be waiting for you to join us at one of our protests or one of our events. |
