The Mexica Movement was founded in 1993 to promote the idea of liberation through education for Nican Tlaca, the people that are today known as the Indigenous people of Mexico, "Central American", Canada, "United States", and "South America". This education-liberation approach was developed by Olin Tezcatlipoca as a means to bring about a disciplined organization that would develop the collective leadership that would be necessary to educate and to liberate our people as a Nican Tlaca people. Since 1993 the Mexica Movement has participated in many events, protests, lectures, conferences, and other forms of outreach with the hope of introducing our people and the rest of the world to the ongoing crimes of colonialism that enslave our people to enriching European colonial settlers on our continent and to impoverishing our people into ignorance, self-hate, and genocide.
