ATTACK OUR PEOPLE IN GLENDALE:
ONE MEXICA MOVEMEMENT MEMBER ARRESTED
Friday, January 13, 2006
Sorry for the delay in articles for the month of January. We have been kept busy by the SOS and Minutemen who have been attacking our people here in California.
We have responded to them by confronting them: twice in Balwin Park, twice in Glendale, and now twice in Burbank (tomorrow we will confront them again).
Here is a link to fill you in on more of the details: Mexica Movement member arrested in clash with racists.
In all of this constant confrontation we need your support by joining us in protest, passing by to blow your horn of support or offering water to our protesters, and/or to give a donation to the general fund of the Mexica Movement.
The membership and the supporters are carrying the brunt of the financial costs of these battles. In order for us to sustain these battles and for us to continue doing our other work, we need your financial support. Within days we will have a paypal system set up so that you can donate once or monthly to the work of the Mexica Movement. For each month that you donate you will get a supporter newsletter that informs you on:
1) Updates on events finished and upcoming events.
2) New books entered into our library that should be of general interest.
3) Upcoming books of interest.
4) Letters and email to the Mexica Movement highlights.
5) Lecture summaries.
6) Protest Updates
7) Campaigns upcoming.
8) Summary of Discussions at Calmecac studies.
We would also like you to help by spreading the word to your friends about the information found at the Mexica Movement website. Remember that if you do nothing, you are part of the problem. But even if you take small steps to support the work of the Mexica Movement you are participating in what will one day free our people from the ignorance, poverty, and self-hate that our people live everyday.
